Why This Tool Exists
This audit gives you a simple way to understand where your time actually goes.
You're not tracking to judge yourself. Youβre tracking to notice patterns you canβt see while youβre in the middle of your day.
This is about awareness, not perfection.
Use what you discover to make small, compassionate shifts that protect your energy and amplify your impact.
How to Use This Template
- Log your activities as you go, or at the end of each day.
- After 2β3 days, visit the Reflections section below.
- Choose one small shift to try based on what you discovered.
Quick Tips
- Set a reminder to log every 2β3 hours.
- Be honest, not perfect. Rough estimates are fine.
- Looking for patterns, not problems.
- Missed entries are data too β what was happening?

Before you start: Think about one question you want this audit to answer. Example: 'Where does my time on Tuesdays disappear? OR βIs there more opportunities to delegate?β

After 2β3 days of tracking, explore these filtered views to uncover patterns.
- What Drained My Energy: Tasks where your energy dropped. What patterns do you see? Time of day? Type of work? Specific people or projects?
- What Energized Me: When did you have energy? What were you doing? Who were you working with?
- Context Switching Costs: How often are you shifting mental gears? What's the cost? Could you batch similar work?
- Delegation Opportunities: What's on your plate that doesn't need to be? What could be delegated, systematized, or eliminated?
- Time By Category: Where is your time actually going vs. where you thought it would go? Any surprises?
